Meeting Baby Urban West Crowder

Hudson * Wyatt *  Urban

I was so excited to finally meet baby Urban...isn't he adorable? Kellie and I got together shortly after his arrival so that we could meet her newest bundle of joy.  He is the sweetest baby. Hudson and Urban are only 10 weeks apart and I can't wait to have playdates when the boys get bigger. I'm terrible and only got one picture, but had to post all of the boys together. It is so cute to see how much Wyatt loves his new brother and best friend. Congrats again to the Crowder family!!!

Bumbo

Forgive me as I'm a slacker at updating my blog, but I couldn't resist posting these pictures. This was Hudson's first time in his Bumbo seat. As you can see Daddy loves to make faces at Hudson and I can only wonder how quirky of a personality this child will have...haha.

The day before was Hudson's 2 month doctor appointment. We knew he was a big boy, but had no idea that he would be a whopping 15.3lbs and 24.5 inches long. He gained 7.2lbs since birth! To his defense this appointment was 2 weeks late due to the holidays so he was actually 10 weeks, but still...gotta love chubby babies.

Daddy's Version...

What is this you may ask? Gaereth's sweet little escape from reality. I can handle it in doses, but not the marathon sessions that he likes to partake in. Don't get me wrong, he is a wonderful father...far surpasses my expectations, but I never knew the depth of his inner geek until I married him :)

I'm sure there are many other wives out there that understand the picture below...or I at least hope I'm not the only one. This is "Daddy's Version" of babysitting. Strap on the headset, prop the baby up on a pillow next to him and he is in dreamland.

Hudson Jack Hughes

Our bundle of joy, Hudson Jack, was born on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 1:13pm. After 19 hours of labor, 2 hours of pushing and an emergency c-section later, he decided to make his debut weighing 8lbs. 1oz, 21 inches long. Our lives have changed for the better and we are loving every minute of our newest blessing.

We were lucky to have a good friend, Brenda, take some newborn photos of Hudson 2 weeks after he was born. He was a little booger at first, but finally fell asleep so that she could get some good shots. Thanks again, Brenda. We love the pictures!
